Kajabi announced today that from now on feature rollouts will be released more often. YAY!!

Back in the day, Kajabi used to do "feature rollout" posts after each 6-week cycle had been completed by their development team. However, over time the number of Kajabi teams has expanded. So 6-week cycles with one big announcement no longer makes sense.

Kajabi uses the term Event to represent a time and date which you want to surround with emails and automations. Some examples would be launches, webinars, or in-person events. It also works for automated webinars that repeat, say, weekly, where you'll receive new registrations on a rolling basis.
So now that you know what an Event is, you'll be happy to hear the news:

One sign of a successful Kajabi account is when you have the same customer sign up for and/or purchase more than one of your offerings. Normally, when they go to sign up for a second or subsequent time, Kajabi will prompt them to log in if it recognizes their email in your system.

However, sometimes people either start off that second purchase using another one of their email addresses OR when Kajabi prompts them to sign in, they can't remember their login info so they purposely use a different email (even though they could've used the "forgot your password?" option). In Kajabi, all .mp3 files are downloadable if added in the download section, as in the instructions above and usually that's fine. Depending on the structure and price of your offering, customers/students will likely expect to be able to download the audio files they paid for.
But there may be specific cases where you DON'T want to allow audio file downloads.
One example would be if you had a large number of audio files in a membership you sell, and you're afraid people would join for 1...

You could send an email broadcast. The only issue there might be that if some people did NOT opt-in to your marketing email list when they obtained the product, they won't receive the product update broadcast. In this era of privacy, GDPR, etc., we do want to honor people's wishes around being marketed to.
Yeah, it's a bit of a pain but there IS a workaround (because Kajabi is smart and they think of everything!). Instead of sending an email broadcast, you can simply do a product announcement.
